It’s official, Summer is approaching here in Davenport Iowa and nothing says Summer quite like the Davenport Freight House Farmers’ Market! While they celebrated their first 2018 Summer opening this past weekend I found myself asking some interesting questions, do the vendors that participate have insurance? What happens if someone were to get hurt? Well, you can get some of those answers by just doing a little digging. The Freight House Farmers’ Market’s website states that vendors applying to participate need proof of insurance. What type of insurance you ask? Well to ease your curious mind, chances are the vendors might be carrying commercial general liability insurance but don’t let your wondering minds distract you from all that the event has to offer!
The Farmers’ Market has a wide variety of vendors that participate in the summer seasons including farmers, craftsmen, bakers, and creators. If you are looking for fresh produce, inventive jewelry, unique furniture, and delicious food then the Freight House Farmers’ Market is the place for you! Go support your community and check them out, open Saturdays from 8am-1pm, Sundays from 10am-2pm and Wednesdays from 8am-1pm.
