Downtown Rock Island Events

Downtown Rock Island has released their 2018 event schedule this summer and it’s sure to be a hit! Whether you prefer live music, a variety of food vendors, home-brewing of more than 50 beers or outdoor games, Rock Island has covered their bases with a little bit for everyone. The first event kicked off on the 26^th of May with a Plaza Picnic. The event was full of music, food, and fun; basically, one giant community picnic party! To plan your next family or friend outing you can visit Downtown Rock Island’s website to view their event calendar. While they may have covered their bases by hosting fun events, I wouldn’t be covering ours without discussing the insurance behind the events. Some lines of insurance that the city and vendors could and should be carrying would vary from liquor liability, commercial general liability, and inland marine. With so many different events that Rock Island hosts the type of insurance and coverage that is needed is endless. While the specific coverage that the city is requiring is unknown, chances are Downtown Rock Island is making sure all their events are covered!
