Looking to ditch your gas guzzling four wheels and venture onto a leg powered two-wheeler? If so, I have found the event for you this summer. Join people from all over the state of Iowa and take part in this year’s Ragbrai. For those who are asking, Ragbrai is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state of Iowa. This year’s route is starting in Onawa on Saturday, July 21^st and ending the week-long journey in our very own Davenport on Saturday, July 28^th. While on your seven-day journey you will pass through towns like Jefferson, Ames and Iowa City this year. If you are a first-time rider or just have basic questions, visit the official Ragbrai website for all you need to know about this year’s event. While you are enjoying your weekly cruise keep in mind your health insurance could most likely be the coverage you want to have in your corner in case the unexpected happens.
